How to access NDIS?
Those who fulfil the requirements mentioned in eligibility criteria are called as participants. Participants can avail the benefits of NDIS in the form of care and support as per their requirements.
Eligibility
Eligibility for NDIS funding depends upon following conditions:
- One must be aged between 7 and 65 years.
- One must be permanent resident or citizen of Australia or holds special category visa.
- Relying on support from other person due to a permanent and significant disability.
- Have been using special equipment due to a permanent and significant disability.
- Need some supports now to reduce your future needs.
What does the NDIS fund?
Funded supports may include:

- Therapies related to the disability
What doesn’t the NDIS fund?
The NDIS will not fund:

- Day – to – day living costs that everyone pays for such as food, electricity and water
- Things that may cause harm.
